Dawn Alvarez is a former Human Resource Director who has a Master’s of Business Administration and Human Resource Management degree from Golden Gate University along with more than twelve years of experience in the Insurance industry.  In this role, she acts as a Compliance Consultant for Filice clients who have employment issues related to areas such as PPACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, Section 125, ERISA and various State-specific regulations.

Favorite music genre

– I’m a country girl. I don’t care who you are; you have to love the simple, hometown feeling that can either get your feet tapping or your eyes crying.

Favorite hobby/interests

– My interests definitely involve running shoes and lifting weights. Challenging myself either outside on the trail or inside the Crossfit gym is a daily desire.

Biggest personal challenge

– Being a wife, mother, and career woman all at the same time. Balancing them appropriately is a constant challenge. I couldn’t do it without the love and support of my family, as well as the close colleagues I’m privileged to work with every day.

On your bucket list

– I have a few, but the two that top my list are taking my daughter to Paris and hiking Mount Kilimanjaro.
